We understand that life (and travel) happens. That’s why we offer flexibility—with structure.
A message from the school:
Make-up credits are one of the most challenging aspects of running a school built entirely around 1-on-1 instruction. We genuinely strive to be flexible and understanding - life happens. Most students use the system responsibly, but since we only do 1-on-1 lessons, cancellations and rebooking can make it hard for teachers and take block time from other students.
Here’s how make-up credits work:
Failed appointments are charged the full lesson fee with no refunds or makeup credits; this includes no-shows (no contact), same-day cancellations without a true emergency, or arriving more than 10 minutes late.
You may login to check the status of your account, your payment history, update payment methods and see how many lessons you have scheduled in our student portal. Access the portal here.
Sessions may not be recorded by students without prior permission; with permission, audio recording only (no video) is allowed.
Neither the Instructor, nor any affiliated parties, shall be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses. This includes any potential injuries or damages sustained by the Student during their participation in any lessons or activities, or as a result of being on Zoom or on the premises of the Instructor’s house or studio. By agreeing to these policies, the Student acknowledges the inherent risks associated with the lessons, understands the nature of potential hazards in the Instructor’s house and studio, and hereby releases and discharges the Instructor from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Student’s participation or presence on the premises.
Plain English: We are not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses during lessons, online or in person. By booking a lesson, you accept these risks and release us from liability.
The Golden Voice reserves the right to pause or end services at any time, for any reason. This may include ongoing scheduling issues, non-payment, or anything that makes continuing unworkable. If the fit no longer feels aligned, we’ll always do our best to part on a high note.
Your payment serves as the parent/students electronic signature agreeing that they acknowledge and understanding the policies, and binding them to this agreement and these policies.
